STS™ SafeFoam Transfer System for Dust Supression

The Enersul STS™ Dust Supression System drastically reduces sulphur fines at critical transfer points throughout any sulphur handling system. The result is a significantly safer and more environmentally-friendly and safe operation.

Our STS™ technology uses a water chemical mix that is sprayed on the bulk formed produce, coating the fine particles. The chemical coating degrades over time, making handling safer and easier, without harming the integrity of the products quality.

Modular DesignThe STS™ arrives 90% pre-assembled for fast and easy commissioning and low installation costs.  The majority of system checkouts are completed prior to shipment with minimal field startup testing needed.

Low Operating CostsRecurring operating costs are reduced as the STS™ unit eliminates empty belt straying and uses direct drive motor coupling.  The PLC system maintains optimal operation based upon your conveying requirements.

STS™ Process Description

Water and chemicals are mixed in a ratio of 100:1 shortly after discharge from the chemical pumps.  This mixture is sent to the header mixing chamber at the selected conveyor points where air is injection to convert the liquid solution to foam.

This foam is then discharged through the spray header nozzles.  Pressure is not a concern as volume is based on the sulphur conveyance rate and can easily be adjusted for variations.
