More than 80% of the world's sulfur (some 40,000,000 tonnes per year) comes as a by-product in the refining of oil and gas. The sulfur is removed as a molten liquid, and then must be processed into a solid form that can be handled both safely and responsibly.
Today's sulfur forming processes can be divided into two categories: premium (GX granulation) and non-premium (wet prilling and slating).
We have experience in designing and operating versions of all of the forming processes being used commercially today, as well as our own patented GX™ granulation system, the industry's process of choice.
We also look to our own Canadian sulfur forming and handling operations for technical field support and assistance in process development. This means that we are running your equipment in our own plants.
