  • Enersul will audit its facilities to ensure full compliance with regulatory, customer and company HSE requirements.

  • Enersul will strive to reduce the risks associated with its business through thoughtful design of equipment and the establishment of appropriate controls.

Communication

  • Enersul will communicate its commitment to sound HSE management to its employees, customers, contractors and the public.
  • Enersul will provide its employees and others as required with appropriate training, equipment and resources so they are competent and can complete their work in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
  • Enersul management will encourage open communication by all people and listen, review and implement suggestions and ideas whenever possible.

Continuous Improvement

  • Enersul management will ensure that continuous improvement initiatives are documented, implemented and operational throughout the Company.

Responsibility and Accountability

  • Enersul management is responsible and accountable for:
    • Ensuring that sound and suitable HSE-MS, procedures, equipment, training and resources exist throughout the company and are being utilized at all Enersul facilities.
    • Ensuring compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
    • Ensuring HSE issues are considered and addressed when making business decisions.
  • Enersul employees and contractors are responsible and accountable for:
    • Ensuring they understand, utilize and comply with all Enersul HSE requirements and regulatory and customer requirements.
    • Ensuring they conduct all work safely and in an environmentally responsible manner.

Enersul is committed to our social and ethical responsibilities.

The sulphur industry is an environmentally driven industry. Sulphur recovery from hydrocarbon processing, refining ores and scrubbing of greenhouse gasses has continued to grow in pace with the increasingly stringent regulations surrounding industrial emissions. The recovery of this valuable element is increasingly driven by humankind's desire to live and breathe in a clean environment.

From recovery to final consumption, the entire sulphur processing, transportation and handling industry is focused on reducing the impact of its activities on our environment.

Focus on the environment has propelled Enersul into a leadership position, using our unique processes, experience and innovation to reduce the impact of sulphur operations at the production source, in the transport system, in our terminals and at the consumer's facilities.
